Save your photos and videos, step by step

Use Cliply on your phone or computer, find your saved files and know what to do when a download fails.

How to download Instagram photos and TikTok videos

Open the original post, tap Share and copy its link. Paste it into Cliply and choose Preview. Check the author and image before pressing Download: each row represents one file. Only save your own posts or content you have permission to download.

How to download every photo in a carousel

Paste the link to the full post, not an individual preview image. If the carousel contains between 2 and 10 photos, Download all photos (ZIP) appears. Extract the ZIP in your Files app or file explorer to access the images. Download mixed-carousel items individually.

Where to find the file on your phone

Check your browser's download manager first. On iPhone, open Files and look for Downloads; on Android, check Files or Downloads. A downloaded image may not automatically appear in Photos or Gallery. Open the file and use your device's save or share option.

The download is stuck or does not start

You can cancel while the file is being prepared and try again. After an error, use Refresh preview to renew the temporary link. If no data arrives, check your connection and try another post. A post being visible in your app does not mean the platform will serve it to Cliply's server.

The preview works, but the download fails

The thumbnail and downloadable file may use different addresses. Platforms also expire links and rate-limit requests. A visible preview does not guarantee that the file is still available. Refresh the preview; if it fails again, wait before retrying. Never share passwords or cookies to fix a download.

Quality, watermarks and limits

Cliply saves the available public file: it does not increase resolution or remove embedded watermarks. A TikTok video may retain a watermark. Individual files support up to 100 MB and ZIPs up to 250 MB. Stories and private content are unsupported. No browser extension is required.
